About the event
Sweden's National Day at Skansen is the country's largest public celebration of June 6. The royal family traditionally attends a ceremony in the Solliden stage area, with folk dancing, the Royal Guard, and choirs performing the national anthem. Expect flag-waving children, traditional dress from every Swedish region, and food stalls serving classic Swedish fare. Arrive early — the park fills up by noon.
