Kungsträdgården is Stockholm's social outdoor living room. In April–May the cherry trees in the south end bloom in pink clouds. In summer it hosts free concerts, food markets and a giant chess board. In winter the central rectangle freezes into a free outdoor skating rink (skate rental on-site). Pop into the historic Café Kungsträdgården for an old-fashioned Swedish lunch.
