Old-school beer hall serving Swedish husmanskost since 1733.
Pelikan, on Södermalm, is a 19th-century beer hall serving Swedish husmanskost — meatballs, herring, raggmunk — at long communal tables under a giant painted ceiling. The pickled herring board with snaps is the move, the menu hasn't changed much since 1733, and they pour an excellent unfiltered pilsner. Cash or card.
