Kungliga Slottet is one of Europe's largest royal palaces still in official use — 600+ rooms, five museums inside, the Royal Apartments, the Royal Treasury (the crown jewels), the Tre Kronor Museum on the medieval castle that burned down here in 1697, and the daily changing of the guard at 12:15. The throne hall and the Bernadotte Apartments are particularly worth the entry. Combined ticket covers all five museums.
